Do I have a valid property damage claim?

Written by: Michael Wade, September 9, 2021

Property Damage is the cost of damage to your vehicle – either as a total loss or the reasonable cost to repair your vehicle – along with towing expenses, rental car expenses, damages to personal items inside the care and damage to any other property caused by the accident. Most attorneys and law firms will not handle property damage claims.  Wade & Nysather, P.C. will handle your property damage claim for free if we take your personal injury case. Honestly, unlike personal injury claims, attorneys do not add value to your claim, but we facilitate your claim in an effort to get you a rental car, when appropriate, and hopefully expedite the repair of your vehicle, or in the case of a total loss, make sure that you receive fair market value for your vehicle.

In most cases, the at-fault party is responsible for covering the costs associated with your property damage claim. If that driver doesn’t have insurance or doesn’t have enough insurance to cover the cost of the damages, your insurance may have to cover these costs. When needed, Wade & Nysather, P.C.  will facilitate these property damage claims for you without charge.
