Question #1
No matter how minor you believe the auto accident is, you always need to report it to the authorities. Write down names, addresses and phone numbers of any witnesses, and be sure the police officer provides you with a duplicate of the Motorist Exchange Info form. Phone your auto insurance broker as well as your auto insurance business immediately for additional directions.
In the event you don't report the auto crash, the insurance carrier may refuse payment of any claims you file afterwards. Your insurance carrier must notify you within 30 (thirty) days of receiving appropriate notice of the auto accident claim whether it'll pay or refuse your injury claim or that it's investigating the claim.
Question #3
That depends. In case the auto accident wasn't entirely your fault, it is still possible to recover damages from the driver of the other automobile for the part of the injury that was his or her fault.
Arizona permits injured parties in Maricopa County to bring claims against the driver of the other automobile even if they were partly to blame.
What should I do if I'm in an automobile crash in Maricopa County?
In case the auto accident isn't my fault, do I need to let the insurance company of my automobile know about it, and, if I do, will they increase my insurance premiums?
If I received a traffic citation saying I was the reason for the auto crash? Do I still have a case?
